I'm Sonia Freestone - Founder and CEO of SSF Business Consulting.
I have had a strong corporate career working as a successful in-house HR and Employment Law Consultant for several years, and in 2010 I took the plunge to start working for myself. During my time at SSF Business Consulting I have had the opportunity to assist some high-profile businesses across the country. However, I have realised that the SME market often lacks the level of HR and Legal Support available for corporate clients. Hence, in 2017, we changed our target operating model. Our vision is to achieve success through people and today we aim to help established and new SMEs to align their business plans with their people plans. We want to be able to provide the SME market with the same high level of HR and Legal support as our Corporate clients. With an LLM in Employment Law, Chartered FCIPD status, and Prince2 qualification, I have experience specialising in HR and Employment Law; Corporate Restructuring and Organisational Design; Leadership Development; and Recruitment and Talent Management. I want to ensure that my passion about the strength of achieving success through people is embedded in our business and shared with our clients to help them to grow and be successful. With proven experience in strategic and operational HR and Employee Relations, we have a genuine understanding of how to help our clients with their people related issues in a dynamic environment with evolving briefs. Working collaboratively with organisations with different cultures and size of organisations ranging from SME’s to large Corporate's, in the private, not for profit and public sectors.
